Sea Guernsey

Island Hopping - Herm

If you love the sea then prepare to become passionate about Herm. Just 20 minutes from St Peter Port by ferry, this idyllic beach paradise provides islanders with a childhood playground that they simply never grow out of.

It may only be 1.5 miles long and 0.5 miles wide, but Herm has enough beaches, dunes and glittering sea for everyone. This magical island is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, snorkelling, angling or simply strolling through the crystal clear shallows, which yield a rich and colourful harvest of exotic shells, particularly along the east coast. Look out for puffins in early summer.

There are regular ferries to Herm on a daily basis throughout the season.
